Un inch, nel senso più ampio del termine, è un unità di misura inglese e corrisponde a circa 2,54 cm. Se facciamo un quadrato 1x1 inch e lo decoriamo con i nostri materiali preferiti (tessuto, bottoni, carta, ritagli di giornale...) ecco che otterremmo un piccolo pezzetto d'arte!

The inch, in its widest sense, is a unit of measurement and corresponds to 2,54 cm. A small square 1x1 inch decorated with all our favourite materials (fabrics, buttons, paper...) is a piece of artwork or better, a inchie!

Ho provato anch'io a cimentarmi con questa tecnica e a realizzare le mie prime due inchies a tema artistico: una in stile liberty e l'altra mosaicata. Conto di farne molte altre anche perché realizzarle è molto semplice e creativo!
I tried to make some of theese too and here you can see the results: one is in liberty style and the other is decorated with mosaics. I want to make many others inchies because it's a simple and very creative work!
Come sempre ho usato ritagli di vecchi depliant per le decorazioni e gli acquerelli per lo sfondo: anche con pochi elementi di riciclo si possono avere grandi risultati, non credete?

As usual I used old depliants for the decorations and watercolours for the background: even with few recycled elements it's possible to create something beautiful, don't you think so, too?
