Pare sia... un regalo marino

Ancora eccomi alle prese con un regalo in ritardo... mai una volta puntuale...

Questa volta si tratta di un cestello di legno, su cui ho dipinto dei pesci del Mediterraneo, e ho decorato con della corda e delle conchiglie di mitili. Per rendere il tutto impermeabile all'acqua e all'umidità ho dato anche dell'impregnante per legno per esterni, a prova di qualsiasi bagno !
Infatti ho riempito il cestello con prodotti per l'igiene e la bellezza, tutti naturalmente cruelity free (ecco due marche che ho molto a cuore Lush e Provenzali), e infine ho spedito il tutto ad una persona davvero speciale !  Spero abbia gradito =)

Here I'm again ! And here it's another late gift ! 

It's a wood basket, on which I painted fishes, and I decorated it with rope and shells of mussels.To make it waterproof I used a trasparent paint, now it's resistant to any bathroom!

In fact I filled the basket with showergel, soaps and so on, all free of course cruelity (here are two brands that I like really much Lush and Provenzali), and finally I sent the gift to a very special person! I hope she enjoy it =)

Pare sia... puntocroce

E' iniziato l'autunno!

E con l'autunno riprendono per me le lezioni e quindi... meno tempo libero e meno lavori creativi... Ma prima della fine di queste mie vacanze ho avuto modo di creare qualcosa!

Questo è il mio secondo lavoro a punto croce (il primo l'ho realizzato che avevo intorno agli 8 anni), si tratta di Cloud, un personaggio di Final Fantasy VII, cucito poi su una federa. In realtà era un lavoro che avevo cominciato 1 anno fa, ma poi per un motivo o per l'altro l'ho finito solo a settembre, almeno l'ho regalato al mio ragazzo in tempo per il suo compleanno.
Sì, lo so il davanti non è male... ma come sarà il retro? Meglio non guardare!! >_<

We are in autunm!
And now I will start again university.. and I'll have less free time and less time to crafting... but before the end of my holiday I made something creative.
This is my second cross stich work (I made the first one when I was 8 yo hihihi), I stiched Cloud from  Final Fantasy VII, and I sewed it on a pillow.
To be honest with you this was an old work, but I finished it only now because I had no time...well, at least I could gift it for my boyfriend's birthday.
Yes, I know it seems to be not a bad work... but how will the back turn out? It's better not to talk about it!! >_<

Pare sia...uno sasso-spasso!

Qualcuno di voi ha mai letto il libro "La collina dei conigli" di Richard Adams?
In questo romanzo che narra le vicende di un gruppo di conigli alla ricerca della libertà, si parla del gioco "sasso-spasso", un passatempo molto semplice e divertente: uno dei due giocatori nasconde dietro la schiena un certo numero di sassi mentre l'altro ne deve indovinare il numero.
Impropriamente ho utilizzato lo stesso termine anche per la mia creazione perchè lo "spasso" in questo caso è dato dal dipingere e dare vita a un sasso. E' il mio primo esperimento di pittura a tutto tondo, se così la vogliamo definire, e sebbene abbia ancora bisogno di perfezionamenti, il risultato non è per nulla deludente!

Have you ever read the novel "Watership Down" by Richard Adams?
This book is about the adventures of a group of rabbits in serch of freedom; in their spare time they always listen to short stories or play to "sasso-spasso" (I didn't find the right translation for this terms...sorry!): one of the two players hide behind his back some stones and the other one have to guess the number of these.
 I use this word improperly to define my creation just because I have fun to make it ("spasso" in Italian mens fun and "sasso" means stone)! It's my first experiment of painting in round and even if I have to improve my technique, the result is not so bad for me!

Il gufetto, regalo per un'amica che ama questo animale, è stato dipinto con i colori acrilici e accompagnato infine da un piccolo biglietto.

 The little owl was a gift for a friend of mine and was painted with acrylics; I also gave her a greeting card!

Pare siano...vacanze e regali!

E' da un po' che manchiamo da questo blog, vero?!
Ebbene, anche noi abbiamo approfittato del caldo e del sole estivo per concederci una breve vacanza in Trentino. Rovereto, Trento e Riva del Garda sono state le nostre mete ma, se avessimo avuto qualche giorno in più, ci sarebbe piaciuto scoprire anche quei piccoli paesi limitrofi dove il turismo di massa non è ancora del tutto presente.
Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni sereni e ricchi di cose da fare e da vedere, ci siamo mescolate con gli abitanti del luogo, abbiamo scoperto differenze e similitudini fra il nostro territorio e il loro e, infine, siamo tornate a casa con tanti bei ricordi di questa meravigliosa vacanza!

Long time has passed since our last updating!
But, as many other persons, we took advantage of the summer sun and enjoy a short holiday in Trentino. Rovereto, Trento and Riva del Garda were our destinations but if we could have had more time, we would have liked to descover those little villages out of the mass tourism itinerary.
We had some good time together, plenty of things to do and to see, we mingled with the locals discovering differences and similarity among our and their territory and we returned back with lots of beautiful memories!

Se la mente è andata in vacanza, così non è stato per le mani!
Prima di partire ho preparato due piccoli regali per l'amica Patty che mi aveva deliziato, come vi ho mostrato qui, con il premio del blogcandy! Si tratta di una t-shirt dipinta e un braccialetto dell'amicizia!

If the mind has gone on holiday, we can not say the same for the hands!
Before leaving I made two little presents for my friend Patty who sent my the beautiful prize of her blogcandy (I told you about it here)! They are a painted t-shirt and a friendship bracelet!

Pare sia...un gioco da bambini!

Ricordate che qui vi avevo parlato di alcuni laboratori creativi per bambini che dovevo realizzare?
Domenica 17 luglio si è svolta ad Aquileia (UD) la manifestazione "Aquileia d'Estate" e proprio in quest'ambito io e le mie colleghe ci siamo divertite a intrattenere le schiere di bambini accorsi per l'occasione.
Nessuna di noi è un'animatrice professionista, quindi vedere che le nostre semplici iniziative si sono dimostrate vincenti, ci ha gratificato enormemente!
Ma sarete di certo curiose di vedere che cosa ha prodotto il connubio fra le nostre menti e le manine dei bimbi... ecco qui due idee semplici, economiche e divertenti!

Some of you will remember that I should organized a little art workshop for children.
During the event "Aquileia d'Estate" (Aquileia - Sunday 17th July) me and my colleagues had fun to entertain lots of children coming there for the festival.
Nobody of us is a professionist kid counselor, so we were very happy to see that they liked our activities!
But you shoul be curious to see what we produced together... here there are two simple, cheap and funny ideas!

Si tratta di una medusa fatta con una ciotola di plastica e carta velina: una specie di scacciapensieri marino!

That's a jellyfish made with a plastic bowl and tissue paper: just like a kind of wind chime!

L'altra idea è invece la libellula sulla cannuccia: una decorazione carina e di facile realizzazione!
I bambini si sono divertiti tantissimo e il truccabimbi finale è stato un successo! I disegni più gettonati sono stati ovviamente le farfalle ma ho avuto modo anche di cimentarmi con un aeroplano, un mostro e un winnie the pooh! W la fantasia dei bambini!

The other idea is the dragonfly on the straw: a nice and easy decoration!
The children had a good time in our company and the final kid-paint was really a success! The most popular drawings were butterflies but I also painted a aeroplane, a monster and a winnie the pooh! Long life children's imagination!

Parie sia ... un O-bento

Dopo un'eternità torno a farmi sentire anche in queste pagine. Scusate la mia assenza, ma l'università mi ha davvero divorato il tempo libero... ho un sacco di cose da fare : scrivere alle mie corrispondenti, questioni per E.N.P.A., dipingere ciò che mi ero preposta di fare...
E dato che sono stata poco presente ho alcune novità fresche fresche :
1- Ho passato l'esame di teoria per prendere la patente (speriamo da passare presto anche quello pratico)
2- Il piccione Igo ha spiccato il volo ed è tornato in libertà ! Qui sotto il video

Here I am again, sorry for my absence, the university stole all my free time ... I've a lot of thins to do : writing to my penpals, working for E.N.P.A., painting...
However, here are some fresh news:
1- I passed the theory exam for driving licence (I hope I could pass also the pratic one)
2- Igo, the little pigeon, is now free , get a look to the video 

Ma torniamo al titolo del post, avete mai preparato un pasto da mangiare fuori casa ? vi capita mai di dovervi portare sempre le stesse cose trite e ritrite ? Se siete stufi di mangiare in stile "un panino e via", ecco la soluzione ! L' O-bento. Una tradizione che viene dal Giappone e ci insegna nuovamente a godere del tempo.
Realizzare un O-bento è molto facile : l'ingrediente fondamentale è la fantasia, più colori ci sono meglio farà alla nostra salute : bianco, giallo, rosso, verde, viola... Ogni alimento deve essere riposto con cura nel porta bento, ossia in un contenitore ermetico di plastica. Non preoccupatevi, le prime volte è normale fare errori, ma vedrete che con la pratica tutto riesce !
Ecco, vi mostro l'ultimo O-bento che ho fatto, prossimamente vi faccio vedere anche gli altri, questo l'ho creato apposta per il mio ragazzo, che non è vegetariano.

Talking about the post's title, have you ever eat something far from home ? Are you tired to eat every time a sandwich ? Ok, here is the solution : O-bento. It's a Japanese tradition and teaches us to rediscover the importance of time. O-bento it's a sort of lunch box were ingredients are very colurfull (white, yellow, orange, red, purple...) and all foods are placed in a cute way. don't worry the first time it's normal make some mistakes, but if you'll insist you'll see beatiful results !
This is my last O-bento, I mede it for my boyfriend that is not vegetarian as me.

OK ingredienti : sushi al cetriolo (è la prima volta che lo faccio è venuto un po' male hihihi), frittata con spinaci fatta a rotolino, insalata iceberg con filetto di merluzzo a pezzettini, una caramellona ripiena di spinaci e ricotta (la frutta era a parte )

Ingredients : cucumber sushi (this is my first sushi... I made it badly... but the taste was good, hihihi), omelette with spinach, salad with cod, and a candy shape"tortellino" with spinach and ricotta cheese.

E voi ? Avete mai praparato un O-bento ?

Finalmente é arrivata!
No, non sto parlando dell'estate che ormai é già giunta al suo culmine (non so voi ma qui da me si sta bene solo quando si apre il frigo!)... ma del tanto atteso premio di Patty Rain!
Forse qualcuno si ricorderà che un po' di tempo fa ho vinto il suo fantastico blog candy e fra i premi messi in palio avevo scelto la borsa "Casetta di caramello", ispirata alla famosa fiaba dei fratelli Grimm, Hansel e Gretel.

Finally it comes!
No, not the summer which is now at its peak (here it's cool only when you open the fridge!)...but I'm talking about the long expected award by Patty Rain!
Maybe some of you remember that I won her fantastic blog candy and I chose the handbag "Little candy house", inspired from the famous tale Hansel & Gretel by Grimm's brothers.

Già dalla foto potete intuire che è davvero un lavoro originale e ben fatto ma vederla dal vivo é tutta un'altra cosa! Le cuciture sono perfette, i materiali spaziano dal pannolenci alle perline, e in più è profumata e morbidosa come un cuscino! Insomma sono così contenta che non smetto di ammirami davanti allo specchio con la borsa a tracolla!

From the photo you can see how very well-made and how original it is but seeing it with your own eyes is something different! She used a lots of materials as felt and beads and the result is a wonderful handbag, with perfect seams and joyful colours! Furthermore it is scented and is so soft to seems a pillow!
I love it and I can't stop looking at myself with the handbag in the mirror!

Si vede con quanta passione e pazienza hai realizzato questa borsa e regalarla ad una sconosciuta senza chiedere niente in cambio la rende un dono ancora più prezioso!
